Season Ends Saturday June 16th
Saturday, June 16th, marks the end of the 2011-2012 season, and we celebrate it in style. Ronnie Saunders will have a presentation of the best of the season’s images and we will adjourn to the Teacher’s Lounge for brunch and our awards presentation. The meeting starts at 10am, and we hope you will join us. Although the “season” comes to an end, our Club will continue with photo shoots throughout the summer. read moreEnd-of-Year Competition Saturday, May 12th
The End is Here! Saturday, May 12th, marks the formal end of the 2011-2012 season. Members will compete in their standard categories plus special Nature & Landscape Competitions. There will be three judges (Adolfo Briceno, Chuck Pine and Marie Kane). Judges will rule images “In” or “Out” (two judges in favor = “In”) for one or more rounds and the remaining images will be scored to determine the winners. All of our season’s best will be entered – so don’t miss it!

Join us for our final Regular Competition of the season on Saturday, May 5th. The theme is “Photo-Journalism” and we will also have our final Altered Reality competition (#5). Judge will be Lila Pollinger. And coming up the following week – Saturday, May 12th – will be the End of Year Competition. In addition to our regular competition categories you can enter two (2) images in “Nature” and one (1) in “Landscape.” If you do so, remember that images entered in these categories cannot also...

Please make note of the following IMPORTANT schedule changes. To accommodate the presentation by Ron Wyatt, we had to do some major juggling. When you see the schedule below you’ll see that it was well worth it – we pushed up Competition #8 to April and was able to secure Enid Alvarez (whom we cancelled earlier in the season due to weather).
